Use WASD to move, and click to shoot.  You can't be hurt while you aren't shooting (other than falling off the platform).  The blue tile is the tile that is about to move to a new location, and the red tile is one that is about to disappear.  Your health is on the bottom.  


This was made for Trijam 171, and it's my first game.  It relies heavily on MoreMountain's TopDown asset for Unity.  I meant to replace more of the default assets, but I ran out of time.  In fact, I ended up running over 3 hours, and I still had lots of ideas that I didn't get around to.  Frequently, I ran into problems and got stuck without making much progress for a long period.  But, I'm glad that I actually finished it, anyway!  It was a fun experience!

This is a lovely game that is actually just a few tweaks away from being a real time sink.  It needs to start off a little easier so we can learn and get used to the tiles and work out whats an enemy, what we can kill, what we cant, etc.  Mayby slower tiles at the start and introduce the other entities in a staggered manner.  I do like the controls, the concept and there is no doubt that this game is fun.  This is your first game?!?  I wish my first was as good as this.  Well done and thanks!  

Thanks!  I also thought it would be good to start slower, but I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to balance it.  I actually put in a speed setting but never used it... I really wanted to do lots of different things like different patterns for the floor tiles.
